my second time as a fan coming there. we lived in the north (Michigan) and moved down here in january but was down last september as well. the sportsman race was awesome & love the looks for sure. the mini stocks was a very good feature as well. didnt stick around for the mods as wife got cold BUT, was very impressed both times with the consistency on calls & procedures overall. I am planning to be racing there very soon as I am going to purchase at least one sportsmans and maybe 2. Aside of the series deal that is going to be run for sportsmans, I am sure between citrus and showtime thats where we will be running the most as we are right in the middle as far as distance. anyways, great job last night, congrats to all the winners and hope to be racing there myself very soon.

Opened my 2013 short track season as a fan at Citrus this eve and am in complete agreement with you about the Sportsman (12) & Mini (11) features. Great watching the Mods (14) again as well. Pure Stock (8) were pretty good. Only 4 Pro Challenge but they were quick. Been going there five/six times a year since 1979 and last night had the lowest car count I have ever seen at that track. By rough count there were 49 cars for 5 divisions, very low by Citrus standards. I am not one that gets hung up on car counts but I know many fans do enjoy larger fields of cars.. In my opinion the 11 Sportsman cars ran a much better feature last night at Citrus than the 20 plus that showed at A'Dale in December. Great racing....cool weather and pretty good fan count. Was planning on heading to A-Dale for the Pass show next week but the racing was good enough at Citrus last night that I just might head over there again. Throw in an Ocala show mid-week and I am on my way for another season.

More proof! Put on a show the fans will come. The show sells the tickets, without the ticket sales nothing else counts. The consistant calls one poster mentioned is a big help too.
