Is Sebring the same way? I hear that it is wilder, so I really don't want to take my boys if its an adult event. Anyone know first hand?

I went to sebring a while back, You prob dont ant to take your Kids there, or your wife.
lets all take a long ride on a short bus.

I quit fishing because no one was standing at the docks handing out money when i got back, why did you quit racing?

Thanks for the un-hearted compliment. LOL but in actuality I honestly think the average weekly "show" has been carnival enough lately. I very much doubt the ferris wheel at the Rolex created the atmosphere, It was the fantastic racing, crowd, which was at least partially brought on by fair tech and good payouts. Just courious, did anyone notice if the flag man kept looking to the tower for instruction? Was there protests in tech, I bet there was but I also bet no one was told if you don't like it, move on, go someplace else.
My point, put on a good, fair show and the crowd will come, fans and the local racer. Some of the rules benders may not like impartial rules inforcement but they will come around in time. I truly hopes this is the way NASCAR runs NSS and OSW. I guarantee if they have rules they will be inforced fairly and THAT is what is needed at the local tracks. JMO

Most Rolex fans were oblivious to the racing, the tech or the payouts. For a while, some of them would watch the pretty cars flashing by, but the infield fans were there exclusively for the racing party atmosphere. Road race fans were in the stands watching and listening, but they were outnumbered by the party fans at least 100 to 1.

This could not be compared to a weekend short track event.

O'k, I can admit if I was wrong. And I will admit sometimes I think a good carnival is better entertainment than a 5 car race. So do you suggest we close the tracks and have carnivals?? Seeing 100 to 1 they cared more about the carnival than racing. Hey, its another theory.
