Do I actually see both racetracks on the SAME poster...? Cross-promotion, and working together. What a concept...! The racing world down here needs more of that. Up north it wasn't unusual for 1 track to promote going to other tracks on different nights, and sometimes give the top class the night off so they can support a DIFFERENT track. And one hand washes the other.
It was pretty cool sitting in the stands at Weedsport Speedway on a Sunday, and getting the weekend run-down from 6 or 8 other tracks in the region. They knew that if each track gained fans of RACING, rather than just trying to keep those fans in their stands coming back, they would ALL be better for it...
