Yep, you read correctly. This year the prize money doubles over our 2011 payout. Its not dependent on the number of party guests who show up to race either. Its going to be the same damn amount no matter what.
Of course, since there is no real organization to the whole event, we never know who to pay. Oh well, that never seems to bother some tracks, so it won't bother us either.
Nonsense aside, if we double a "$0" pay-out, it is still $0. This is not a night to race for money, its a night to hang out with your racing friends, and hopefully make some new ones, while going at it on Florida's one-of-a-kind Lil' 500 track.
Remember, there is no admission charge and the ride tickets are discounted to $2.50 for this group.
