  • double pay-out at Little 500 Night

Yep, you read correctly. This year the prize money doubles over our 2011 payout. Its not dependent on the number of party guests who show up to race either. Its going to be the same damn amount no matter what.

Of course, since there is no real organization to the whole event, we never know who to pay. Oh well, that never seems to bother some tracks, so it won't bother us either.

Nonsense aside, if we double a "$0" pay-out, it is still $0. This is not a night to race for money, its a night to hang out with your racing friends, and hopefully make some new ones, while going at it on Florida's one-of-a-kind Lil' 500 track.

Remember, there is no admission charge and the ride tickets are discounted to $2.50 for this group.

        When will the crashing begin

Moe, as far as I am concerned there will be no crashing. That is because I am the cleanest driver there. You won't even know I'm behind you until I flash by!

Considering your background in Crash A Rama, we are arranging for a golf cart to be stood on its end. Then you can drive your kart off a ramp and knock it down, ok?

rkn, be sure to say hi. I don't think we have ever met, right?

What's the payout from 10th on back? Do I get tow money from Ohio? Do I have to buy fuel and tires? Can I run 8" slicks or 10" treads? Hoosiers or Firestones? Do I have to buy a slab? Can I bring sponsors? Can I run a outlaw wedge car? Can I run a wing or sideboards? How much left-side weight? Before or after feature? With or without driver? Before or after Hooter's?

Hopefully I can come this year. Seems like everytime I plan to go, something doesn't allow me to go.

Is there a mandatory fuel and tire purchase? (ah, Jimmy beat me to it)

J-Mac, out of state drivers are required to have at least 70% left side. Not bad, huh?

Of course remember that we are turning right at Little 500, and we have no tech, no inspection and scales, so everyone is on the "honor system".

Now I am really sorry I am going to miss this as I just heard today that Danica Patrick is leaving her husband and will turn that duty over to the winner of the Lil 500 this Friday. Wow, Boneman has some pull!!
