Former Plainville Stadium Champion, Bob Viveri will be there. He is a Coupe, a Pinto, and a night he'd rather forget.

Richie Gomes, from Long Island, NY will be here. The first shot is from Islip Speedway in 1970.

The 2nd shot is a very clean & sharp Gremlim

The 3rd shot is Richie's toy today. He runs with the DAARA club on occasion.

Had a great time with my NAPA 15 car yesterday. It has set up for awhile and took about 5 laps to clear the carb and warm up the tires. After that I could shift to 4th and let her go on 7 year old tires. felt good after that and then it was over.
Love doing this every year with Jerry and hope to continue.. Thanks again to Jerry Binner and all who put this 'old farts' event together...

              Curious?

I see on a TBARA sprint car, SHAW on the hood, does anyone know if that is any relation to Jimmy Shaw of J & J balancing from Paterson, N.J.?

It's actually Doug Shaw, who was a fabricator for Buck Buckley when they were in PA together building URC Sprints.

                    Reunion.

Met some old friends, and had a reasonable good time, except when I sat down under the tent a gust of wind came around and blew it down. Got to meet Ernie Saxton, who gave me a copy of AARN and told me that I could be the twin brother of one of the Erb's that runs at Grandview. Got to sit in the stands and watch for about an hour, while my old buddy Steve Belden went over into the pits to visit with Bonsignore's, my ears are still ringing, saw maybe 50 or so different cars practice, that in itself is a great show.
