Another new one I'm excited about.... Kyle Larson, THE fastest growing star in the sport, will be in a Modified at Daytona. As far as I know, this will be his very first time in these cars.... but that don't mean NOTHING to this kid. He wins in anything he drives, regardless of past experience.

He's in a great car too.... The Kevin "Bono" Manion 7NY that Ryan Newman has driven to several victories.... and Kyle Busch drove at NSS all the way from the line to turn 1, lap 1, and got collected in someone else's crash.

Great car, and outstanding driver. You heard it here first.... Kyle is your Daytona winner.

Also, Martin Latullippe, as if he wasn't busy enough entering 2 cars at NSS, will also be running the 200 lapper at Auburndale with PASS.

At NSS in the Tour Mods, add Brandon Ward, and Louie Mechalides.

Louie has won a few races with his Late Model, but this will be my first time seeing him in the Mod.

Brandon Ward's history includes both the Pass South series, as well as the old Hooters Cup series. Interesting that he will be in a Mod rather than a full-bodied car that most of his experience came in.

NSS Mods now up to 17.... and it ain't over yet. Several teams scratching to make it down here from the North. Still think the South will send a few more too.

Mod Tour defending champ. Doug Coby didn't have a ride for Daytona until now. He will be driving the famous Old Blue, owned by the Boehler family, numbered 52 (Dougs number) as a teammate to primary driver Teddy Christopher in the regular 3 car.

I think this makes 24 Mods for the Daytona show, and new Smyrna is up to 17.

Kerry Madsen will be at Volusia in the 410 Sprints, and will follow the World of Outlaws series.
