Putnam County Speedway Roaring Up For OWM Action on May 17th

As Putnam County Slows down a little from the first successful race of the season it is about to speed up once again with a Action Packed Night again this Saturday Night. Classes that are scheduled are Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and of course the 4 Cylinder Bombers.
Promises at Putnam County Speedway are very important as The Management at Putnam County said at the begining that " Purses Will Rise " if racers and fans come and that is indeed what is happening. Week 2 of Putnams Season and a rise in purses are already here. They believe that in order to be a successful track you must gain the trust in the racers and the fans and that is there goal.
This week, rules are complete and are set in " STONE " and are available at Putnam County's Website at http://putnamcountyspeedway.com . These rules were decided on by the vote of a majority of drivers in the respective classes and it truely was a pleasure to see drivers working together for the track they will be racing at instead of against each other.

Sportsman Class Purses are increase thanks to a unknown sponsor for May 17th Only, the increase is as follows: 2nd $150.00,3RD,$105.00,4th $95.00

21st - Open Wheel Modifieds, Hobby Stock, Pure stock, Mini Stock, 4cyl Bomber (Kids bike racing)

NEWS AND UPDATES
*All drivers/car number MUST be registered to receive payout.
Registration in $25 If you have not rented a pit slab it is $100 for the season.
If you do not want to rent one for the season, there will be a $10 rental fee per night to use one.
*NO PETS OR 4 WHEELERS ALLOWED IN PIT AREA (Insurance regulations)
*Sportsman rules are finalized. You can pick up a copy at the track.
*POINTS START MAY 24TH FOR ALL DIVISIONS
*At this time the track is ONLY carrying race fuel.
If you would like us to carry methanol, please call the speedway and let us know.
We also are currently under negotiations with a couple of parts vendors for things like tires and race parts. MAKE SURE you bring tires, tear offs, etc. with you for now.
