First of all I am from the All Star League era up North and ARDC and URC.
They are all a model of how it is done.
1. You MAKE SURE you have the purse, tow money and Appearance money to pay the owners.
2. You use rules that make sense and are a product of RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT.
3. Your owners BUY a SANCTION FEE so they can race with you, it was called a license back then.
4. You SPACE your shows the first (3) YEARS far enough apart so the owners can recover some money so they can travel and race.
5. Your PROMOTE the darn thing so people come to see you.
6. You keep your owners informed about the SMALLEST detail so they are in the loop.
7. You RAISE the purse when your count is low, not CUT IT.
8. IF you say it is $1,500.00 to win and then pay $250.00 for 2nd YOU ARE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS.
9. PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCT, you must have a PRODUCT to sell.
10. BIGGER IS NOT BETTER, just COSTS MORE.
Want a GREAT MODIFIED SHOW.
JUST CHANGE the rubber to 14" with a ROCK HARD right rear and change NOTHING ELSE. This will allow anybody to race with you for just some tires.

I agree 100 percent with what you said except the tires but everything else is on the money and I can see maybe 7 or 8 things that wasn't done in the FASCAR modified series that should of been done that doesn't cost alot of money.

No I was at Gordon Park in Georgia for teh Carolina Clash. They had 28 cars trying to make a 24 car field (Travling show) and the DRIVERS and OWNERS where there biggest FANS because of how they run their series. They paid $4,000.00 for 40 laps and $1,500.00 for 10th. Green flag was worth $250.00.
