I am excited to see the SLM show taking shape - lots of out of town interest for sure!

Whats the story with the modifieds - only 20? I figured with that purse they would get probably double that. Is it the sort of thing where people are planning to just show up day of show? That one has me perplexed.

Friday night - please run the Pro Lates first....sitting through a handful of 4 (or less) car features isn't going to make anyone happy. Also surprised at the low car count for PLMs.

I have to commend NSS and sponsors for stepping up to the plate for the event - it seems that the racers are not holding up their end.

I think a lot of people just don't register until the day of the race. There was a discount for signing up early that ended a week or two ago so whats the point in sending in your entry form at this point, just fill it out when you get there. I am sure there will be plenty more PLM's. About five of us went through Sergi's oil patch last race and ended up in the wall so we weren't sure if we were going to make it...but we will be there and aren't signed up...I'm sure there are a bunch more in similar situations. Someone told me they had 15 trucks coming and only four are signed up so we'll see how it turns out. I hope there are at least 20 PLM's for our race, I wish someone put up some more money for it. At this point its the same 100 lap race we've run every other night this year, more people show up when you make it special somehow, by either changing the race somehow or increasing the purse.
