How ridiculous was Indy 500 qualifying? Only 11 locked in. Come on. Stop trying to manufacture storylines...Davey Hamilton was plenty fast enough to have a spot. Besides there won't be any bumping on bubble day anyway.

And why is it the Napcar car owners have figured out the USAC guys can wheel a racecar (Newman,Gordon,Stewart, etc.) but the IRL/Cart guys can't figure it out? And I'm tired of hearing its the money. Its because IRL owners aren't smart enough to go out and get sponsorship for talented drivers.

I think whoever wins the Chili Bowl should automatically get a ride for Indy! Let's see Mutoh & Sheckter at the Chili Bowl...

But props to those drivers who risked injury today.Bump day was dramatic again . they risked it all in 2nd rate cars today.Lazier bumped his way in the last 20 minutes,In the last seconds of qualifying Mario Dominguez turned a fast enough lap as the gun went off then crashed into the wall.
