YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PIT, HOWEVER YOU DO NOT GAIN TRACK POSITION BY STAYING OUT

Hey Mark, can I ask what the reasoning is behind this approach? The track doesn't want to penalize a team who does not have a Cup quality pit crew; even I can understand that. But why not give a car track position if they chose to roll the dice and not pit?

Does this mean no bump stops for Florida cars or just the out of state cars? I know a few modifieds that are on bump stops, mine being one of them.

He does bring up some points however.......I am sure the ole Don has seen quite a few attempts of getting around rules in big races......jackass or not.

I am curious if it is indeed an impound race......and secondly is the restart after the halfway point the same lineup as lap 50 or is it a race off pit row?????

He brings a valid point about refueling one of these cars as well. Most of the mods have closed in trunks that require a long funnel. It would probably be better to have a five min red flag. Racer and crew safety should be the number one priority.
