Damn, I share in your frustration. Its maddening because it can be fixed, it just appears that something is standing in the way.

i dont know anything about drainage but looks to me like that little drain that is there (in the picture) was put in the wrong place. how much would it cost to fix the drainage properly? how much would it cost to fill and grade all that parking area? i know every week that we go to the speedway something is fixed and repaired. i have been at the track for a long time and Kevin has it in the best shape i have ever seen it. As much as i hate not being able to race on sat, it is just not fair and Kevin should not have to undertake that major expense to fix the parking lot. that is just my personal opinion and i truely feel bad for both Kevin and Terry.

I would say when they engineered that road and put it in it became the responsibility of the engineer to also engineer the drainage for the surrounding property. Is that a county road? If so I'd say the county should go back on the engineer for relief. That's ridiculous. That's probably why the Airport is balking at taking responsibility
