Some things you just can't plan! I took my boys to Marion County Speedway last night, and we happened to park next to one of the DAARA competitors. I recognized his car, it is a one-of-a-kind roadster that started life in S. Florida, and often raced at Florida City Speedway. I've attached a photo taken in 1966 or so of the SAAB powered car sitting in staging, AND a picture taken last night with one of my sons behind the wheel.

Many thanks to Wayne Blevins for keeping this classic alive and in such good shape!

Interesting changes over the years to the racer, most were Crosley power back then, there was a Johnson/Evenrude powered also, but this one with a Saab engine then, gone now,new MC engine?Honda or Kwasckie? Ect.. 4 bar cage roll bars were put on at Fl.City in early 70's{ we got lower rate ins. for that at track, when it was done.
