That's funny Don.... the T-shirt I bought at Volusia, during the Supermodified event, had Dickie Murphy's picture all over it. Didn't see one speck of Don Nerone OR Dan Jones.

You may have had something to do with another day, at another track, but your trying to take credit for something that another promoter had done.

    Try again......!

Want something different, fast fast fast, try 358 Dirt Mods on pavement.

They run them weekly at Airborne Speedway in NY. They are very fast, and very entertaining to watch. Always a great show. They run on dirt tires on pavement.

Airborne is Dirt Sanction, so talk to Dirt if there is anything you(they) could do. They are there at Volusia with the BB Mods, so why not venture in the 358 and see what it does. Just make sure they are not running the same nights, and I'M sure the top guns will bring the 2 cars, BB and 358. Makes the trip more worthwile moneywise.

          About the Supermodifieds in Florida:

They ran for years at the south Florida tracks (Palm Beach, Hialeah, and Hollywood) in the early to mid-'70s (NESMRA shows). In the early '80s, I know they had a couple of shows at Sunshine for the Winternationals (ISMA/TBARA shows). In the early to mid '90s (I wanna say it was really only one or two years - maybe '90-'91, or '94-'95 - can't really remember which years), they were at Volusia when it was paved (obviously - *duh*...LOL).

It *would* be cool to see them back down there, run a couple different tracks/shows, OR also be a part of the World Series (maybe on the night that the Modifieds and Late Models are over running at the "big track"?)....

Bristol winner Wayne Jefferson is at Southern National Motorsports Park in North Caro

Wayne Jefferson and Kevyn Terry are at Southern National Motorsports Park in North Carolina for the Rolling Thunder Modified season finale. Saturday's race was postponed until today Sunday.

The series has had 4 different winners this season. If Wayne or someone different wins today then they will become part of the 'royal flush.' Good luck to everyone in North Carolina.
