  • Driver of the Month....

After making a big deal out of the lack of support the Karnac nation was giving this contest, and how racers across the state should embrace this thing (and they should).... now there's a winner named, and nobody bothered to tell us who won?

    Congrats to Clint Foley!

Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention, that Clint won the award for April. He is honored and we are so proud of him. It is nice that he is finally getting recognition, that he has deserved. I guess I am partial because he is my husband.

Clint won last night again for the second consecutive weekend in his ministock, the sportsman division had the night off. He again started in the rear and won on the last lap. He works really hard all week to be competitive. This is his fourth win of the season for this year.

Thanks again for the recognition and honor.

            P.S. John, nice picture!

Kim... do you ever see or hear from Carol Newton anymore? I have only spoken to her once since JD passed away, and she wasn't ready yet to come back around the racetracks. If you happen to see her, please make sure you tell her I said HELLO!..... Jerry Binner.

                Jerry,

Carol is family to us and we miss JD terribly. She is doing well, she has had a lot change over the last year, some good, some bad, but she is managing. She finally made it to her first race this year two weekends ago. We were happy to see her there. I try to have lunch or breakfast with as much as her and I can get together. I will let her know that you asked about her.

                Take Care,
                Kim

Thanks Kim. I know Carol has been completely crushed from losing JD, but staying a hermit isn't healthy for her either, and surely not what JD would have wanted. Glad to see she's coming out of her shell a bit.

I appreciate you passing along my lost-distance Hello!
