  • Can we stand it??

This is getting harder and harder to believe. A common tire at all asphalt tracks in our area. Promoters moving divisons as to not to create conflicts on the same nights. Imagine that.
    The money comes and goes.
The trophy we get to keep.

Now it's time for the drivers to wash their cars, fill them up with gas and start taking them to different tracks. We told them if they came together, we would come. If we don't, then this sport will never change.

I would have to believe that this KARNAC Message Board has a LOT to do with it. Everyone (Track Owners, Promoters, Car Owners and Fans) reads it. It is easy to decipher the thoughtful concerns, opinions and suggestions of all involved on here from the bomb throwers/sh*t stirrers. Let's hope things continue to change for the better, as everyone involved in the world of short track racing here in FL will benefit.

        Well

Not yet the same.....at least for the mods. If Punta Gorda goes to the F-53's then there will still be Desoto,Citrus and A-dale that will have to conform. Its hard to run two tracks with two different tires. I actually had a conversation with one of the track managers and they are considering it. I know that the sportsman are running the same tire as the mods at Citrus but unsure about anywhere else? Scott do you know?????

Yes, with the Punta Gorda change every track in Florida now runs the Sportsman on the Hoosier 8" 650 on the Right and the 450 on the Left.

            Thats

Awesome for the sportsman.....we ran a sportsman at citrus for a while and the car seemed to like the 650's. Now lets get the mods back on slicks at every track F-53's at all tracks........
