If I'm not mistaken they are NOT Super Late Models. I will try to post more when I find out for sure. The base cars for the race are coming out of Georgia and I believe they are more of a Limited type Late Model.

      I will check and post.

Will do Randy. I had taken everything offline because they are actually building their own new website it just isn't up yet. As far as I know, from everything I heard, most of their divisions will run 2011 rules for now.

I will pass along any information as I get it.

I do know there is quite a bit posted over on Flagstand by some of the members over there.

Rick, I will be checking with Robert Ford today but last I knew in 2011 Rules it was a combined division similar to FAST/FUPS so it is not strictly Super Late Models. Again, I will double check with Robert Ford and post it here.

As to the other question regarding the Rules, they will be available on the new Ellisville Speedway site once it is complete. I will do my best to get that info from them today as well. The 'Lake City Speedway' site has just basic information and will be coming down as soon as I hear that their new website is done.

In the meantime, if anyone has ANY questions regarding Rules, Scheduling, etc, please contact Robert Ford at 386-623-1370 or 386-623-7701

Knowing the certainty i will be called a dummy or just be completely bombarded with insults like "Where's your car" and "do you race" i must ask the question.

What is the LIMIT on this track scheduling on top of that track? They all run on the weekend and almost entirely on Saturday night.

Multiple tracks in the state and area.........these two being roughly 150 miles apart.

There is a small area in the middle that could go to either track, most will go to the closest.

And traveling shows these days bring in the same amount as a regular show, or less cars.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

Okay this is getting way off track... to CLARIFY...

                        September 22nd.
NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY is BRIGHT HOUSE CHALLENGE SUPER LATE MODELS

                        ELLISVILLE SPEEDWAY IS LATE MODELS

If there are any questions, please do not add to the confusion here, please call either Robert Ford for Ellisville Speedway or the Track Office at New Smyrna Speedway at 386-427-4129.

Not trying to be harsh, but I can see where this thread has the potential to cause a LOT of confusion. Thank you

Robert's post above says Late Models (a.k.a. Limited Late Models, a.k.a Pro Late Models). I think

I should have re-phrased myself. I can't think of any "Georgia" Late Models they could be pulling in. There are no asphalt tracks that run these types of cars anywhere in the southern half of the state. The exception being the "Outlaw" bodied cars that run on rare occasions at South Georgia Motorsports Park. And there are very few of them.... maybe 10 total?

It just doesn't make sense to me on what is supposed to be there.
