Wasn't the deadline July 1st? I would think everyone would have bought theirs by now, why change the rule back. Are there cars that have not been showing up because of an ignition change? I don't care either way I already put the crane in both cars I just don't get the call. Why make a rule change, listen to everyone bitch and moan about it, enforce it, everyone gets the new one, then after all that over-ride the tech guy you hired and let everyone run whatever they want again. Why?

            Ignition Change

            Kim,

Will their be an explanation on why FASCAR is allowing us to run either now that we all have the new one? Sure would like an understandable explanation.

From Robert Hart...Yes this applies to the Bright House Challenge and all races throughout 2012 and possibly longer. After speaking with a prominent engine builder and multiple race teams, I feel it is best for the racing/racers to set this rule aside until further research is done. I appreciate any input from all racers and try to take that input into consideration when making these decisions. I encourage anyone with any questions to call me at New Smyrna (386) 427-4129. Thanks for all your support.

I hope to see everyone at the 14th Annual Clyde Hart Memorial Super Late Model 100 next Saturday night.

Matt and Larry, I have your numbers at the office and will call you on Monday.

                      MSD vs Crane

Going to the crane box, was really a good idea. To many Msd boxes are out there with a switch built in to bypass the chip, and built in traction control. You have to wonder what all the guys think that spent there money on the crane boxes? I hope they still stick with the switch, just give teams more time to get them? Or at the very least, have the MSD boxes all wired in the cars the same way, so after someone wins with one, they can replace it with a new one, and send there's off for testing.

I will let anyone get my msd stuff checked any time.Jeff got us a Crane and it needed extra grounding to make it perform properly that no one told us about. Now they say you need a crane distributer to make the thing work. we will keep our msd and the crane box is for sale. You will hear 77 hit the chip every lap at NSS if we are going fast enough.I personally think the fans probably think we are breaking the motors as most all racing on tv never sounds like that.

386, what do you care. I'll run my Super at the next race at Orlando (late October) so you don't have to worry.
