I went to the August 4th racing program at Showtime Speedway. Huge crowd on hand. Quality of racing was quite good, at least the fans seemed to be loving it and so was I.
It was a very efficiently run race program. Started at 7:00 p.m. and ended at around 9:30 p.m. One race out on track after another. No intermission. No wasted time for the fans to sit through like what is experienced at so many other tracks. Accidents scenes were cleaned up quickly and efficiently.
There were 11 qualifying heats and 7 features.
Here are the feature winners:
Open wheel Modifieds: Chet Senokossoff, #61
Modified Minis: Eric Cuchta, #12
Pro Trucks: Jessica Murphy, #26
Street Stock Figure 8: Robert Crisp, #2
Street Stock: Robert Crisp, #2
Fast 4's: Cole Partelo,#9
Mini Stock: Thomas Tanner, #67
More complete results to come later.
