Just got some very sad news, Bill Sterling of Sterling Photos has passed way.
Bill was a photographer for a lot of the local race tracks for many years in Florida. He took pictures at East Bay, Auburndale, the old Sunshine Speedway, Golden Gate Speedway and Tampa Dragway. He was even the photographer for the TV show Dukes of Hazzard.
He passed last Thursdays. I talked to his daughter Nance today and they are having a viewing and service for Bill this Tuesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Lakeland. All the arraignments will be in the Lakelands “The Ledger” newspaper tomorrow.
