Ok, that was a good night! The racing was good in all classes, maybe not great, but I left feeling fine and having enjoyed myself.

The 115 lapper could have used a yellow or two there toward the end. Daniel Webster led from the pole and slowly drove away. By the time Anthony Campi got into second, 33 was a half a lap ahead and that battle never had a chance to happen.

The 20 car field was pretty stout, but I was surprised that there weren't more cars considering the payout.

Cheers to KARNAC poster, and street stock winner, Mike Wilson! I knew he was a ringer and managed to get him in what turned out to be our biggest pool of the night.

Sometimes past deeds will outweigh any pay out.
    The money comes and goes.
The trophy we get to keep.

I did see Andy and OSF, but missed Rex, Tony and Michael Seay.

However, AFTER the races was a cool deal. In about 1/2 hour, got to see old friends Chuck & Willie Burkhalter, and wound up meeting with Dave Pletcher, Jimmy Castleberry, Eddie King, Todd Hutto, Scott & Becky Jackman, and Rex Guy. Lots of laughs in that group.

As for the races, I'm with Rex in thinking more cars would be in the 115 than there were. Campi was real strong, and a fan favorite in my section. Would have been interesting to see him get a shot at Webster, but it took him forever to get past Jesse Dutilley. The support races were good, and kinda made up for some disappointment of the LM race.

One thing they have GOT to figure out.... the delays during cautions were just painful to sit through. C'mon.... 8 laps to re-align after a single car spin? And during the clean-up of a 2 car crash, it took a good 10 minutes to clear the first one, THEN decided to bring out the rollback truck for the other car. Another 10 minutes.

Now, gotta give kudos for a GOOD call they made. With lightening nearby, and a slight mist in the air, they pulled the plug on the autograph session in order to get the RACE in. Turns out it wasn't needed... but the track officials did the right thing for racers and fans. Two thumbs up on that call...!!!

Overall, not a bad show, and some of it was very good.

Thanks Rex. It was a pretty good night. That was the best our car has run all year and it was win #11 for the year.
Daniel Webster took a very impressive late model field and ripped it to shreds. Very impressive.
Glad everyone enjoyed themselves and had fun.
