OSW NEW Head Tech Inspector

FASCAR Comp. Director Ricky Brooks has announced that Rusty Crews will be the new Head Tech Inspector for Orlando Speedworld.

Crews brings with him a stellar reputation and many years experience including former Tech Inspecting with USARacing Pro Cup Series, The Snowball Derby, and has been part of the Bright House Challenge Series and World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing for many years among several other marquee Series and special events.

I'm just glad to hear something that runs counter to all the "track is closing" rumors. It sounds to me like adding an experienced inspector is a step on the right path, so I am all for it.

Will changes in tech result in more cars? Maybe we'll win back a few who have their nose out of joint. Bigger changes will come with more race nights and more aggressive scheduling, IMHO.

Kind of a high level person just to tech Strictly, Super Stocks and Mini's. Seeing there are only 1 Super(after this weekend, (weather and track conditions pending) and just a couple Pro and Mod races left. Isn't he the Tech Man for FUPS?
