    ol' Buzzie is a hoot!

Very cool!. Ya gotta love Buzzie. He's an oldie but a goody as the old expression goes. Talking with Buzzie a few times over the years is a great memory. Interviews with him are always entertaining. He has great stories from his racing down here and up north. He's like the classic Timex watch....he takes a licking and keeps on ticking, still racin' and winnin' at his age.

Speaking of oldies but goodies, how lucky are we Karnacians to have ancrdave taking the time to post old historical photos and info! Buzzie and ancrdave are two oldies but goodies. LOL

      Yuppers...

Next to the phrase 'class acts' in the dictionary ought to be pictures of the Reutimanns and Dave Westerman here........

I believe Buzzie is one of Floridas finest racing ambassadors. I have been to his shop on a drop in and he was quite willing to let you just walk around and always took time to engage in conversation regardless of what he was doing and in no way made you feel it was time to leave. My son passed him on the outside of the third turn at Nort Florida and he was the first to pay him a compliment afterwards..If this sounds like hero worship I plead guilty. Very neat model in the picture over his left shoulder. Thanks for sharing this picture with us. If I had announcer Daves job I would never go home at night.

For those of you who would like to see the Legend in action, we will be racing at Bubba Raceway Park July 20-21st, for a two day show for the Modifieds, $2000.00 to win each night. The plans at this time is, for David to also race, since he has an off week before the Brickyard 400.

I you look closely, you can see a shoe sitting on top of the cabinet. Westerman can probably confirm, but I'm betting that was one of Dave Marcis' Wing Tip shoes he was famous for wearing.
