Rough hit when you consider it was a solid concrete wall and not a guardrail with some flex.

Did I see this right? Was his car flipping before it ever got to the wall? Lots of flames too.

And why is the guy in the booth waving? Do they not have radios?

I saw that too, but I thought it was clay and lighting that made it look like flames - i think he did get air when he crossed the top of the shoulder, but didnt flip till he hit the wall. That was a ride.

I think the guy waving was just clueless and was "rooting" for his favorite - not sure he even saw the wreck.
