Putnam County Speedway Meeting on 4/27/08
Today April,27,2008, is a date that made history in north Florida stock car racing!!
Our meeting at Putnam County Speedway,was a complete success,A board or steering commitee was formed,with the following results,the class reps are as follows.
1. Late Models--- Tony Lewis Sr.
2.Street Stocks--- Mark Kinley
3.Hobby Stock--- David Miller Sr.
4.Pure Stocks---George Whitehill
5.Mini Stocks--- Jay Farris ( Elected as chairman for the board)
6.Open Wheel Mods---Ronnie Newsome
7.Box Stock (aka) 4-cyl. bombers Troy Sullivan
I was very pleased with the way things went today,the idea I started has taken off like wildfire.I KNEW IT WOULD WORK.
I the next day or so Mike Budka will have more info.
I want to thank everyone who has participated in this effort,you all have shown that we can work as a team. Thanks again Bill Fisher
