    Tom Root?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been quite some time since Tom Root has been out at NSB in a Super Late Model. He was quite the modified shoe for a while.

Tom's a great guy. Anyone got the scoop on him?

Tom also had his Super Late at Orlando on Friday night. If I am not mistaken, Tom also had a Super Late back when he ran modified also. But it is nice seeing him back again no matter what he is running.

        Thanks for the reply Jane!

I used to buy lots of racing collectibles from Tom. I haven't been in probably 2-3 years, but he had a place over off of Lee Road (I think) and Hwy 441. I believe the name of his establishment is Finish Line Collectibles.

I used to buy a lot of stuff from him there also (actually it was by the corner of John Young Pkwy and Silver Star Rd., next to the 7-11). Tom had a huge crash in his Modified, that resulted in a very big fire.... I hadn't seen him since. Very nice guy though (his wife also) and glad to see he's back out there.

That was his first location, over next to the 7-11. Then he moved down the road to the free-standing location that also housed his racecar.

Anywho, glad he's back out on the track!

Tom Root is parts man at NSS.

Jerry I talked to Tom the night of the Mod Reunion in the pits. He was the parts dealer for the regular shows. That was just one of many nice visites that day. Can,t wait for next years Modified Reunion. THANKX to all that made that possible!

It was a pleasure to have you there Fred. I haven't worked out any details or plans for next year, but you can count on one thing... it WILL happen... somehow, someway, somewhere!

Thanks for coming, and especially for the kind words!
