  • Troy DeCaire wins at Winchester

Troy wins at Winchester Speedway. For the $6,000 first place.
Only 17 cars, for a big purse like that.
TBARA had 17 cars for a $1,000 win.

Does anyone know if Troy and the 91 team are going to stay in Indiana this week, and enter the Little 500 at Anderson this weekend?

I just checked, but don't see Troy's name on the 2012 Little 500 Entry List yet.

I could be wrong here, but I thought X-Treme was a 360 series, whereas the Little 500 is a 410 show. Don't know if the 91 team has a 410 motor program.

I just checked the online MustSee Xtreme Rules Book for 2012, and they are a 410 series.

Since the 91 team won at Winchester yesterday with the MustSee, I'd think they'd be good to go at the Little 500 this weekend if they want to enter it.

Only 30 cars listed for 33 spots so far... I remember when 20-25 cars would not make the show for this race a few years ago...

I was looking at Troy's record in the Little 500. He has never had a ride like the 91 for the Little 500. If he can steer clear of trouble for 500 laps (no small feat at Anderson), he could claim the biggest win of his career on Saturday night. Hope the Florida drivers all have a great showing.

I read that 41 sprint cars are at the track today, trying to make it into the 33-car starting field for Saturday nights Little 500! Qualifying begins in a few minutes.

The top 15 Qualifiers today are locked into the race. The rest must requalify tomorrow. Good luck to all the Florida drivers!
