there should be a test for these systems to be sure they haven't been fooled around with. yes, they are an expense but it should(in theory)keep the playing field even. just because you ahve money doesn't always mean you can find your ass with both hands and a map.

Summit or Jegs don't list, stock or sell this box. Must be a one off. Nobody in the lower divisions need a MSD box? I now have 3. 1 in car and 2 spares. Picked the spares up at an auction and wired all the ends to be the same in case 1 failed and make it fairly easy to swap.

How about everyone run what you brung, and hope you brought enough. But you have to hook it up on a 7" treaded tire. I see it up in Indiana, and Michigan guys with MONSTER motors, but you can only hook up so much, this bring the drivers back into the equation, then its not all about the money. Just a thought...

Dad's one of the Super Late Models at Orlando - on a real tight budget. He sure ain't doin' this stuff to make any money at it.(Love ya, Dad! I know you'll read this...LOL).
He asked me to check and see if this new Crane box will work with an MSD distributor. If anyone knows either way, let me know, so I can let Dad know.
Thanks

DD38 if someone bought u a box,4tires,race fuel, truck fuel, paid your pit pass and drove your truck to the track you still would complain and have a reason not to race.
Thanks for clearing up that the other tracks are doing this as well. I hope this move is to keep the playing field as level as possible and it is inforced when you are not there. BTW, if you want to buy me any of the items that you offered to DD38 it won't hurt my feelings. Just kidding, just trying to lighten the mood on an otherwise hot topic.
