He was a great guest and I'm sure his interview came off well. That is a guy whose done it all... Oswego Supers, Nascar Mod Tour, Busch GN Tour, Winston Cup and Indy (broke his leg there, didn't get to run... but he was there and fast enough to get in the show).

I know I"M getting old when "The Young One" is ready to retire. During our interview with Doug, I said that I wasn't quite convinced that he's all done, and his wife gave a smile that said she wasn't quite convinced either.

I think Da Boney Maroney will be filling in for Rob Elting tonight. I am sure he will be on the 18th floor suite of "INSIDE FLORIDA RACING".... I can hardly wait to see him! ;-) Should be one heck of a fun show!
Doug and I have already talked about the next reunion... I am 99.9% sure it will take an act of God to keep him away. I don't believe he can stop racing either. Hope not anyways!

Apology

I'd like to apologize to Boneman for my callous, inconsiderate post on the eve of a big night for him. I realize he must have a lot on his mind with the show tonight, being broadcast nation-wide and listened to by millions of fans across the nation and NASCAR officials.

Please forgive my immature attempt at humor. I respect and admire his dedication to the sport, perseverance in the face of adversity and keen sense of humor, although I realize there is a time and place for everything.
