Well Fan Appreciation night had some really good racing. The fields were okay and the drivers in each & every division put on a super show for the fans. Super Stocks (10) Sportsman (7) Modifieds (8) Strictly Stocks (10). Bandoleros and Legends also were on hand. The three Bando's had a last lap pass for the victory by the #24. I thought every race was the best and each one got better, ending with a terrific finish in the Strictlys 20 lap feature.. The #3 & #51 on a last lap altercation which may have started a couple of laps previous, The #3 Sutorus held the lead on the last lap going into the third turn when #51 Railing rammed him from the rear spinning both cars as the #55 Christian took the lead. It looked like #51 was having a tire issue which may have been caused by a bumper run by the #3 a couple of laps earlier. It was just good old hard racing in my opinion. The fans left a buzz about this race and everyone was talking about the finish. Well I'd like to hear other opinions about the finish. Just one final thing, Thanks OSW for a Great $5.00 night. In my case Fan Appreciation night was truly appreciated by this Fan.

That is AWESOME. Nice to see good comments about any track and to let everyone know that you had a good time and liked it. We need more of that and less of the same old-same old complaints. Hopefully one of these weekends I can make it to OSW and NSS but right now but legs don't seem to allow me to do much but WAY TO GO ORLANDO.

Dave, not that many, a little better than usual but not by much. At least it's a starting point, I saw several faces I hadn't seen in awhile at the track. Those that stayed home missed a pretty good show. One of the nicest things was seeing all the kids with their checkered flags waving and cheering the drivers on.many, many more kids than usual. The track must have sold a bunch of those flags that night. Also was nice to see the #61 Richie Evans coupe on display behind the stands. There is also a new peanut vendor, hope he does well.

Understand some of the DAARA guys came and displayed their cars behind the stands... One thing OSW has lacked for years is a really neat "atmosphere." Other than Crash-A-Rama, the place is dullsville... Need separate vendors with flashing lights & flags.. a really good souvenir booth etc. I remember when they used to do personalized t-shirts/caps etc. from a booth right behind the stands... How about using a searchlight on race nights... people might just drive in to see what's going on...

David it does still matter because they have taken the first step and that is the hardest. Hopefully they will keep up the good work and if they need me to pass out some tickets here in Brevard, just let me know. I use to go with Ron DiCandio to all his school shows with the racecars and we would pass out tickets to the kids so they would bug their folks too death to take them and quite a few got their way. Anything and everything helps and I for one, am williling to help in anyway I can. I love Orlando and always have and she is a great track. And I do remember when if you did not get there at a decent time, well, you didn't get the seat you wanted.
But NEVER EVER give up trying Orlando. You are worth the extra steps it takes to help make a place GO.
So if you need me, I am here and would gladly pass out tickets or fliers if you need me to.

Another nice return to the past, is the four-page 8.5" x 11" news bulletin OSW hands out at the ticket booth, free of charge. Much info which includes stories and pictures of both OSW and NSS previous weeks action, finishing orders at both tracks & upcoming events. Nice size and much info. Thanks OSW for this added touch. Also some nice items on sale such as T-Shirts, blankets, etc.
