So in summry we've determined there is no 'fastest track' but there is a 'fastest car'. Thats why we race 'em.

In 1985 there was a gingle donr for a comerical at Desoto speed way and it said the souths fastest shirt track. The owner had a ad company and asked if she could make that clame..i told her that there was no faster short track south of her so go for it..

Lap times to speed

Ok, so here you go now anyone can figure out just how fast they are at a track.

size of the track / lap time x 3600 = mph.

.375 (3/8) / 15.60 x 3600 = 86.5384596 mph
