Pro Late Models Headline Weekend
New Smyrna Beach, Florida (4/26/12)
After mother nature washed out the action last weekend, the FASCAR tracks come roaring back this Friday and Saturday night with two action packed nights.
Friday night (4/27) the Weekly Racing Series Pro Late Models take center-stage at the Orlando Speedworld oval track. Friday night's lineup also includes Heat Races and Features for the Pro-Trucks, Legend Cars, Super Stocks, Mini-Stocks, Strictly Stocks and the open-wheeled E-Modifieds which have provided some of the best racing of 2012 throughout the State. All the racing action on Friday night is just $12.00 General Admission with Kids 11 & under getting in FREE with a paying Adult.
On Saturday night (4/28) the action shifts from the tight bull-ring of Speedworld over to the high-banks of Florida's fastest short-track, the half-mile New Smyrna Speedway. The Pro Late Models Challenge Series highlight the night's schedule as they are set for 100 green-flag laps in just the second race for Florida's newest Late Model series. Joining the Pro Late Models on Saturday night will be the Weekly Racing Series Super Late Models in a rare double-bill for the two Late Model divisions. Also scheduled are the Modifieds, Sportsman, Pro-Trucks, Super Stocks, Mini-Stocks and the Strictly Stocks. General admission for Saturday night is $20.00 Adults with Kids 11 & under getting in FREE once again with a paying Adult.
With the rare opportunity of racing both Pro and Super Late Models on the same night at the same track, look for a few teams to be hauling two cars to New Smyrna on Saturday night.
Just a handful of races into the 2012 season the racing action is already in mid-season form at both tracks with battles to claim Track Championship honors already heating up in several divisions. For complete Point Standings breakdowns for both tracks, use the links below:
