  • NASCAR's Turn 5: Ross was on the Dave and Angie Show!!!

Yesterday Ross Chastian was on the NASCAR Radio with Dave and Angie. It was so cool listening to Ross explains the Kansas track and how they were adjusting on it to get it better. They also talked about the Sponsorship the National Water Mellon Association. It has taken the county by storm. The sales of water melons has jump in sales. Also they talked about all the water melon products and things you can make with water melons. One of the recipes is water melon fudge and it supposes to be GREAT. So if you have any homemade recipes made from water melons. Send it in and let’s get into water melons. Ross did a GREAT JOB. He is on his way. CONGRAT's to him and his whole TEAMS (FAMILY included)!!!!
PS: During NASCAR Cup TV practice Darrel Waltrip even mentioned the water melons are in the broadcast booth. Ross is getting his SPONSOR NATIONAL EXPOSURE!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!

Did you hear David Reutimann's comments about Danica. The commentator said he was going to ask Danica if she was concerned about being able to keep the car in the top 35 in points for David. David told him he'd probably be escorted out of the media center. LOL

      Missed that one Winger.

Sorry didn't catch that interview. But it must of been a good one.

Our Florida Boy's had a tuff day:
Joey Coulter had a Great day going when a untimely yellow caught him the last to go to the pits. It put him a lap down. He was running the leader down time wise and was in the Aarons Lucky Dog position. But the yellow never came out finishing a dismal 14th. Chris Fontaine was looking good. The cameras got him a lot of air time staying out of trouble all day. Trucks were wrecking all around him. Finishing in 20th spot. And then Ross had the bad luck of dropping a valve. This was his first trip to Kansas and was getting better and better. Finishing 33rd will not help him in his run for Rookie of the Year. He did get about 2 or 3 minutes of National exposure on TV for his Sponsor. Michael Waltrip also said that he heard a interesting fact: "Water melons have been farmed for over 2000 years". He seems to love water melons.

Now as far as water melon recipes. I heard Water Melon Daiquiri’s are supposed to be very refreshing on a HOT afternoon. Anyone else gotten any recipes?????
