  • Rules for SunShine Speedway

They have posted some of the rules on their site at:
    http://www.showtimespeedway.us/

They still did not specify the tires for OWM , Just says track approved? Maybe I scanned too fast?

Am I missing something? I only see general rules. No class specific rules.

Yes, you are missing something. Maybe press the "f5" button when you get on the sight?

At the meeting for the modifieds, the drivers voted on tires, all but 2 voted for slicks. No decision on which brand though

Tried the F5 key. Nothing. And so how do you find the class rules? Again all I get is General Rules. No specific class rules. I clicked on every inch of the site to no avail. Stops at page 6.

Correct me if i'm wrong. If you run a Ford, you can port the heads (see #5)?

                    5. No Ford D3, “SC”, or other High Port Heads. The following are the only
                    approved Ford cylinder heads: A, B, C, C3, & C35. These heads must remain
unaltered other than port and polishing.

                      Dave,
What class are you looking at about the ford?

                      From OWM:
                      1. Any two (2) or four (4) barrel carburetor. Must pass track gauges.
                      2. Must be naturally aspirated.
                      3. No fuel injection. No electric fuel pumps.
                      4. No magnetos.

Oh, I see you looked at late models.

one of the gm heads can be gasket matched on the intake side up to 1" deep. you could get some gains out of that!
