  • Congrats to David Rogers

It is a shame there is only one FUPS race at NSS this year. Jesse Dutilly led past half way but could not hold off a hard charging David Rogers, Rich Clouser and Tim Russell.
It was nice to see some of my KARNAC friends there, and a big thanks to Steve Dorer for the easter egg he handed out. With no cautions I didn't get a chance to get in to it until after the race but it was appreciated none the less.

All green 100 lap race with some great mid-pak racing. I kept hoping for a yellow so Jake Perkins could catch up. He was held up at first, but made the pass and moving up on the pack. The nose on his car needed an oil change after the race too.... ??
Good to see you in tech last night too.

David Rogers showed the way last night at NSS for the FL United Promoters Series only visit to the famed 1/2 mile this season. Afer leading for 60+ laps Jesse Dutilly's front brakes began to fade and Rogers was able to run him down and take the lead. With 3 laps remaining Rich Clouser caught Rogers but was unable to get past Rogers.
Fast Time was Anthony Campi, followed by Clouser & Dutilly. Dutilly also collected Halfway Leader & Most Laps Lead.
Hoosier Tire Winners were Dutilly & Russell. Fast Time was sponsored by, Progressive Race Engines. FUPS next race is Sat. 4/21 @ Desoto Super Speedway.
