A few years ago, FASCAR invested in a piece of life-saving equipment, and last night it was used again. It is an "AED" defibrilllator which is used to rapidly diagnose the condition of heart attack victims, and if necessary give them a jolt to restart their heart.
Last night, someone had "the big one", but incredibly they were parked two pits away from 2 Orlando EMTs. Because of their their skills, their training, and the tracks AED, one of the FASCAR family made it to the ambulance and was talking and responsive.
Sorry, I don't mean to be dramatic, but I won't say who. This is not the forum to pass on news like that, especially since I don't know anything about it. The purpose of this post is to thank Robert Hart, FASCAR or whoever made the investment in the AED.
Oh, and the next time you see Orlando EMT Jeff Bailey, "10emod", give him a pat on the back!
