  • About This Change In Nascar

Someone hits the jetdryer and NASCAR wants to make changes. How about making this change. With less then 30 laps to go throw a yellow, make everyone stop for gas only, line then up in single file in the order they were running before the yellow, throw the green and have a race to the checker flag. Non of this fuel mileage racing. Make me think Obama has taken over NASCAR and wants to go a differ green.

My personal opinion is to let them go.

    drop so many penalties.

Give them a shot at a first inspection without penalty. Penalties should be handed down after the race/qualifications if not fixed. Safety not withstanding!

Lets go racing! Not inspecting for minor stuff!

Don't build one car and everybody has to use it as an exact template. Go back a bit to each builder builds the car using some guidelines. I do not like this current system. I think it keeps newer teams from having the possibilty of running sprint cup or nationwide. How many teams/companies/etc actually build these chassis right now? The others buy one on availability?

The problem with this is the teams will have a fuel mileage race up to 30 laps to go to be out front at this point of the race. So it's still a fuel mileage race, just not to the check flag.
