when are you going to have a meeting for the mod drivers and owners? We have heard rumors of tires,rules,and schedule. Im sure im not alone wondering what your plans are. Rumor about running goodyears? Rumor about a mod driver setting the rules? Come on Robert lets talk about one of your potentially biggest classes................

Hey Doug, I have heard that the modifieds do not need a meeting. The rules will be just like all other tracks. The only thing I was told is that they will not allow a tube clip modified to be ran at Showtime Speedway.

I like the idea of leaving the rules the same. If it ain't broke don't fix it. But I think they should still have a meeting to discuss tires, race dates how often, etc. I don't like the idea of the tube clip chassis not being allowed to run though here's why, I have a good friend by the name of rick coffin who finally saved enough money to purchase a mod, guess what its a JCR TUBE CLIP, they allow him to run it any where else in the state, he also carries extra lead in front of the fly wheel to compensate for this. so whats the problem with that just sayin? your thoughts

Tube clip cars are the way of the future for modifieds.......We have been racing with them for several years now and no they do not dominate our class. They merely add 25lb to the front of the car. This is why we need a meeting. We want to be heard and have many questions. I happen to know that mr.Coffin has plans to race his car at showtime speedway. He is a clean racer and would be a crime to exclude him or anyone else. So who is making these decisions on our class? We need a meeting to discuss. If you have a meeting and mod drivers do not show than that is there fault and will have nothing to say.......Imagine our friend ricky planning to show and race..pay for entry,fuel,tires only to go to tech for safety check and be told he cannot race..............Hello

I know all the rules for the other tracks state you can run a tube clip, maybe they will change their mind. I'm not sure who is drawing up the rules. Yoho wanted to keep his tech man a secret. I was actually looking to build a tube clip mod myself. Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

He told me on Tuesday, he didn't feel the need to change the open wheel modified rules every other track was using.

Yes his car is a tube car.
I think there are just so many things to do with re-opening the track, changing rules is probably not the top priority for Robert right now. This is, I would guess, an 80 hour a week job to get the track back open. He has his work cut out for him, be patient.
