I feel the same way about this song as I do about my country.

Both are sacred to me and I have no respect for anyone that tries to change either one.

      AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

If more people had this same respect we would be better off.

Banning the Gen. Lee at least spared the car the embarrasment of guilt by association. On the other hand maybe Nascar can get bad singers for all the mile tracks to compliment the awful racing.

My significan other sings semi proffessional and will go pro in about a year. She sings the national anthem best of almost anyone. I do not have a you tube of it but, listen to this:

I've probably heard as many bad versions as I have heard good ones. I hate to stand there, holding my breath, hoping it doesn't get mutilated more. A few weeks ago BRP had the CEO of Chick-fil-A play the National Anthem solo with his trumpet. It was awesome.

I always enjoyed it when the tracks had somebody decent sing it live.

                My Favorite

I have always thought the best version is when they use an armed forces band . Something about the instrumental version just makes it seem more patriotic to me.
