        I predict I buy a gun and shoot myself in the head if I hear any more about Danica. I won't make it past the pace laps, so I'll just say goodbye now......

          Now that's funny, and I agree, by the way!

                Mine wasn't a Danica bash as much as a media bash. This coverage makes me want to puke.

                        The way it looks it just may be Tuesday before we see the last wreck feast race at Daytona this month.

                        I know wrecks are a part of racing, but I’m getting tired of just plan out wreck feast racing…unless it’s a call a demolition derby. But damn this is the Daytona 500.

                        And yes I know Daytona and Talladega is known for the “Big Ones”, but it’s getting out of control.

                        But I’ll watch the race anyway and hope nobody, driver/crewmen/fan, gets hurt.

                          There used to be some fear floating around to keep people at least nervous about wrecking, now they don't have to worry with this car. At least until someyhing unexpected happens.

                            As Bubba said, "when something unexpected happens". In those tight packs, and that close together, it only takes a fraction of an inch for something to go wrong. One wiggle from a car in 3rd could trigger a crash back in 9th. Everyone likes to find someone to blame, when half the time it's more like 'shit happened'.

                              pass out

                              Media bash, you bet.

                              Heres' a little something for you; "The Danica 500 Drinking Game"---

                              Starting at the 1 hour pre-race show, you buds take a drink of suds every time you hear the word "DANICA"----or have the TIP BOARDS ( we're adults, we all know what those are) already loaded up onto which lap you will fall asleep on, or which lap you'll wake back up and eat a burn't hamberger, onto watch the checkered flag, and post-race show.

                              If you don't think this is a good way of finding out how much they talk about DANICA, then----

                              take a piece of paper;

                              write down every time you hear the word "DANICA" in one column, and in the other column, write down how many times you hear that "Tony Stewart is the Champ"-----and I'll bet you all the way, why this hasn't been re-named the "Danica 500".
