      Dueces Wild...

I dont know anything about payouts. but i do know that our fan count has NOT dropped. there was standing room only this weekend. the last time i went to the SLM race it was packed also.
Where are there huge SLM counts? they are all about the same. i would love to hear some people come on here and talk about what a fun night they had at their local track. would sure be good to read.
dont be mean. im not. just stating facts.
Kevin is a new track owner. he has tried in every way to make drivers and fans happy. im not sure thats possible but at least he tries. ;-)

I am not being mean and I am just stating facts also! Everyone is dancing around the question I asked before the race. What is the payout for the super lates and the pro trucks? The question never got answered on here in writing. Real easy to say it and then change it later after the fact. Why not advertise it and stick to it? They have a real nice looking flyer posted on here so why not post the start and win money on it? Drivers love to know what they are getting ahead of time so they can prepare. I will use your own words here that it was standing room only so the money is there to pay the drivers a good purse but in the end it gets lowered because why? The pro trucks met the truck count requirement set by Greg. He said he would pay $500 to win and still he lowered the payout according to some of the pro truck drivers. Why? Again the stands are full according to you. Concession is thriving beer is flowing and money is rolling in. So why are we cutting the payout to these drivers? The super late model guys are saying the same thing. Drivers are not going to come back on a consistent basis if they don't do what they say they are going to do. The rumor is also out there that certain drivers are getting free gas and tires when they show up. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! Lets hope that is not true but that came from a pretty reliable source. So is that the right thing to do to the other drivers paying their way? I don't think so! Again why not be up front and professional with these drivers and teams?

          Deuces wild,

I believe I know who you are and I hope your having fun on here. Kevin Williams the owner of PGS really does not want me on here lowering myself to argue or debate with you but I have had enough of your crap. But if you are going to call me out than I will defend myself and the track that we all work very hard at trying to make it successful. I did NOT announce a truck count requirement for a payout. Whoever is feeding you this information is dead wrong!!! I am not sure why you are so concerned about our payout’s when you have no car or truck in the race? Our payout’s are some of the best in the state and have published our payouts on here often. We actually paid more for our Pro Truck class this week thru the field than the prior race as we had more trucks this week. Why is no other track asked to post payouts? Is someone from another track paying you to come on here to mess with us, I think so! I checked your history on here and more than half of your posts always have something negative to say about us at PGS, why !!! I am not going to set here and debate with you as you are not worth the time. If you think that Kevin would give someone free tires or fuel to race at our track you don’t know him, and that’s the problem. People hide behind some computer screen name and throw stones at things they have no clue about. Come on out some Saturday and visit with Kevin, I am sure he would take the time to discuss your issues!! I know the man well and after I discuss this with him, I am sure he would REALLY like to meet you! Call 941-575-7223 and come on out!! Have a nice day!! Now I have to explain to Kevin why I lowered myself to your level to respond to your crap.

In defense of PGS I will say I have never heard of them cutting a purse. We have raced Road Warrior there last year and got paid $90 for 7th and that is in a RW. Aslo we have raced Street Stock there with a short 5 car field and still got the advertised price for 3rd which was $150.00. If they was going to short change Late Models and Trucks I do not believe they would be paying this kind of money to the lower classes.
The pay out thru the field at PGS is the best in the state. The track is awesome to race on and the stands are always packed. More than once they have had to turn people away due to the fact of no where to park them.
And finally there Giant Pork Tenderloin Sandwich is AWESOME.
