  • NSS night 2

Man I wish they had more tour mods, they put on a hell of a show last night. Hemric should have won, not sure what went wrong on last restart. Preeces car was destroyed, that was a big hit. It was a racing deal though, tv got loose under him and it was ugly from there.

Crates had a decent show, lots of action. Coughlin pulled a really shitty move on keene to dump him. Was fun to watch bass come from the back, he would have been in the top twn till the wreck.

Found some more respect for Becca Kasten last night, that girl is tough. But for the flat she had him covered. Larson seems to be solid, would like to see him have to pass people though. Rogers got screwed on every restart being inside behind slow people. He had some speed.

    Fl mods were a wreckfest.

Most entertainment not on the track was the drunk/disturbed guy in the Miller jacket, hard to describe, but he thought he could talk to the drivers and some how thought he was the coolest person in the county.

TC was being TC.Hemric lost a cylinder and that is why he dropped back.
Agreed that Becca had that race taken care of until the tire went down. She had a hard time with restarts.
FL/IMCA mods were an agonizing race. The super stock race wasn't much of a race. There a couple of good race among a couple of different groups, but once that panned out it was a snoozer.
The "other" entertainment was amusing. Was kind of waiting for the tumble down the stands, but that didn't happen. Probably for the better.

I think speed51 said Hemric dropped a cylinder. Couldn't be at the track, but watched the Trackside Live coverage, and it sounded like the Mod race was a very good one.... although light on cars. Ryan Preece totally junked his Mod.

Another question... are Jonathan Kievman and Johnny Kay the same person?????

Ahh, that would explain Hemric, he had checked out on them. You really didn't notice them being light on cars with the action they had, but as the week wears on, it might be a little boring. Made me think the dis thing next yr is exactly what they need.

          Don't know about Johnny kay.

Do know I can't wait to see the next slm race, it is going to be good. Not too many junked slms lots of dinged up ones though.

RSB - I did wonder if that guy had Karnacian roots - seemed kinda like what i expect some of these folks to be!

That is Jonny Kay nascar uses his non racing name I think the car #'s and names came from nascrap for the tour mods as Jon has been running the south mod tour.
              The money comes and goes.

I think it's interesting that all the "local" guys were upset that Super Stocks-Sportsman-Mini Stocks etc. were dropped from the World Series a few years ago... So, they schedule a race for the Super Stocks this year and about a dozen show up and half of them belonged to SADE... Probably the $35 pit fee kept a lot of them away... Ridiculous price for no more of a show than you get...
