PG Speedway Rocks out loud!!!!
What a fantastic opening night. The stands were full to capacity, racing was a blast especially with 21 of some of the best SLM racers in the state. Also saw faces I havent seen for ages. While at the meeting i even got to spend some time with Jeff Choquette!
Never question that our track is family oriented... Bobby and Wayne Andersons son Ricky have found a favorite fishing hole at the track and catch some HUGE bass, catfish, gar, and lots of panfish. Kevin was even kind enough to clean up some of the brush so the kids had more room to fish. Others were playing football.....even Jeff Scofields son Tyler fished.
Fathers and sons racing, and fathers giving up racing so their kids can take a stab at it.
The SLM race was won by Wayne Anderson and he had to fight for it for a long time trying to get by Todd Allen . Richie Anderson and Patrick Staropoli were close behind. I would have hated to be in that 55 looking out in back of me. a thundering herd all racing hard for the checkered flag. Was very exciting.
Thank you Kevin and all of your employees for working so hard to entertain us and make us feel like it was a family gathering...FOR $10.00!!!!! R U Kiddin me?!!! costs that much for a box of popcorn at the movies!!!
