  • Panhandle racing website

Does anyone know what has happened to this website. It was not all that good for news but had one of the best directories for southern track websites. Any info is appreciated.

There was a message or notice posted on Panhandle several weeks ago stating that the website would be closing down after the new year. I can't remember what the exact reason was but it kind of sounded like it was just time to move on.

If you are looking for a good directory for race tracks try this website:
http://speedwaysonline.com/. Find the race track locator and pick what type of track you want and then use the drop down list and zero in on the state and you are in business.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks I will give it a try. Tracks in this area seem to come and go with the wind.

Bob Smith, who had the site, said that he was going to go back fishing for a living and would no longer do Southern Raceway, Northwest Florida Speedway or Panhandle Racing after the first of the year. Bob did a great job on all these sites and I will definitely miss him. But he has go pro bass fishing.

Tough choice to make. Why in Gods name would anyone give up fishing to put up with the likes of us. His services are missed and were appreciated.

            Florida race tracks

The best listing of Florida race tracks is on the http://villagesracingclub.com website. it has them listed by size, type, category, distance from the villages, most any info you can think of. A lot of time and energy went into researching for this and is very helpful.
