So, I wasnt sure what to expect out of him at the Red Eye, my understanding was that it was his first SLM race. Unlike Erik Jones, I dont think he had much experience in a big car, period. Anybody know if that is true?

Seemed fast enough, but you could see when he got the shove out of four that he didn't have the seat time to save it. Once they bandaged the car up it was fast again. Curious to see how he fairs during speedweeks.

Impressed with his early speed though.

From what Joe was reporting it was his son's first time in a LM... at least in a race as I'm sure they did enough testing to make sure he was ready... He spent last year in the Allison Legacy cars...
