  • Nice Street Stocks

Here's a couple of really nice Street Stocks. Believe it or not, they are DIRT cars!

Aside from the sounds and speed of racecars, the eye-appeal is a big factor to race fans. Would it kill some of the car owners in Florida to take a little more pride in the appearance of their cars?

I wonder if they whine about having to start in the back and having to pass other cars.

Pretty close TinyTim..... Ransomville Speedway, just north of Buffalo NY.

And no, they don't whine about starting in back and passing. Starting in the back is sort of a badge-of-honor, because it means you've been kicking some tail lately. The best cars and feature winners rarely start in the top 10 of the feature. Most point leaders start somewhere between 12th and 18th in the main event every night out.

            Sunday afternoon

It would be nice if some car owners/drivers would take the extra step and do a little cosmetic referbishing the day after a night of racing.

That was over half the fun on the following Sunday afternoon. Releasing the frustration of a "bad night" of racing (beating out a fender) with cleaning up the race car made the knuckle busting and sweating during the assembling of it worth while.

            Take pride in your ride!!
