  • Mike Fritts Moving Up in the World

Last I heard he was working with Jeremy Colangelo (I thought) but now it looks like Mike Fritts is moving to North Carolina to work with Ken Schrader Racing and driver Ricky Carmichael this coming season in the NA$CAR Camping World East Series.

Good luck and congratulations Mike, we miss seeing you out on the track!

Hope it's true, but I'll miss him and his dad at the tracks. They are two great guys.

Mike had the talent to drive in Nascar years ago, (and still does, but I know they only want young guys) it's a shame he never got the chance.

Don't say that to David Reutiman. He's 37 but driving like 22.........

You never know, this is Ken Schrader we're talking about after all, maybe he can put Mike in an ARCA car somewhere. I know Mike could kick some major butt given a chance.

After Ken Shrader sees the way Rc drives then maybe Fritts will have a chance. Looks like Mike has his work cut out for himself.

Now we'll see how much 4-wheeled talent RC has. If he' not up front, it won't be the car under him that's the problem. Nothing personal against Ricky, but it burns me when major money gets behind someone totally un-proven, while guys like Fritts (who has seriously paid his dues) never get the chance.

Unfortunatley, the money tree is behind the driver, so I don't see Mike getting a shot behind the wheel. I really think Mike could make an impression on that series if given the chance himself.
