A professional level headed driver should obey the caution, ask his spotter what happened and/or have spotter meet with the other drivers spotter and find out what happened. Maybe the guy cut a tire or someone got into him. At first contact, the facts are not known. I think he should wait for green and consider his options and possible outcomes. Does he risk tearing up his and others equipment and possibly someone not involved equipment ?

This is the 4th week in a row contact that the said driver is taken out by the other teams drivers. At that point the only thing seen is red by the driver who is tired of getting run over by the same people and he takes care of it. Anybody who has raced for awhile has done this. Is it right , no, Can it be changed , no , As Earnhardt once said "racing is going and doing sometimes s*** happens".

By no means am I a Kyle Busch fan - *at all* - or a Kurt Busch fan. My pick is Tony for the Sprint Cup title
Here's the thing. Kyle Busch is as talented a racer as they come. He can run a Late Model - and win; race a Truck - and win; nationwide - winner there, too; and Sprint Cup - well, not so many wins, but he can keep up. The kid *is* talented.
It's his attitude that gets him in trouble. Let's not forget, too, that when he does run in the Trucks, he runs his own stuff - not Joe Gibbs. Gibbs, and M&M's, are both innocent bystanders in this latest tirade of Busch's. Traxxas oughtta drop their Truck sponsorship of the punk-a$$ little kid and put on someone else more deserving and respectful of other drivers on the track.
Kyle is like a high-school kid going to the playground to pick on the younger kids and takin' their lunch money, by moving "down" to run Nationwide and Truck. Just another instance of why I believe that these days, NA$CAR needs to step up and grow a set, and not only take the Sprint Cup guys out of points-title contention in Nationwide and Trucks, but LIMIT the number of starts they can have in a lower division. My vote is to allow full-time Sprint Cup guys only SIX starts in either Trucks or Nationwide; and if a driver wants to run in the lower two divisions, DECLARE those six races before the following season starts. The rule should not apply to a driver looking to move UP and run for Rookie of the Year in either Nationwide (moving up from the Trucks), or Sprint Cup (moving up from Nationwide).
As far as this "probation until the end of the season" and "$50,000 fine" or whatever it was - it's yet *just* another slap on the wrist from NA$CAR. $50,000? Pffft. What a *joke*. Pocket change for someone making well over a million or two a year. Probation? Wasn't punk-boy ALREADY on NA$CAR probation from the Darlington incident with Harvick "until the end of the year"? Or did that JUST apply to the Sprint Cup series? "Probation until the end of the season"? Hell, that's only two more races! PARK his a$$ for the last two Truck races (or whatever's left) as well (since it *was* "only" a Truck race in which said incident occurred...LOL), and put him on full NA$CAR probation for next year, too!
Just my two cents ..............

back in the day
most of you could not survive back in the day,say 60's& 70's . i always told my drivers ,if you feel like you owe anyone any thing ,dont let me stop you. when you are on the track you own the race car. have been bared from most tracks at one time or another . never paid a fine ,back the next year.

the night don is talking about is my nephew dennis abneywas driving a super six for nerone and he was about 15 or 16 and was winning about ever week when they did not put him in wall i was suspended from racing for two weeks and i told this big old bold don't run dennis abney in wall tonight if you did you would need some new teeth and your face worked on '' SO DENNIS WENT RIGHT TO FRONT AND WITH ONLY FIVE LAPS LEFT HE HAD THE RACE ONE WELL THE OTHER GUY HAD WAITED ON DENNIS AND PUT DENNIS HEAD ON IN WALL AND THE OTHER BOY WAS STANDING BESIDE HIS CAR --- AND THEY CALLED FOR A WRECKER DON'T GUESS HE KNEW THE WRECKERS WAS MINE AND DENNIS DAD DON WRECKER SO I PULLED A COWBOY HAT WAY DOWN AROUND MY HEAD AND PULLED UP BESIDE THE DRIVER HE NEVER KNEW WHAT HIT HIM HE GOT JUST WHAT HE NEEDED MADE A BETTER RACE CAR DRIVER OUT OF HIM DIDN'T IT DON

I will say anywhere from 10 years ago on back racing was truly a fun fun thing to do and you never knew what to expect. Racing is so vanilla today its not even funny. In the day KB with the attitude he drives with would be just another driver because every one had that attitude. The "bump and run"? Pull that 15 years ago and see where you ended up when you got to turn one after you did it.
