When will you have concrete info on what tracks are going to be involved?

Next meeting is scheduled to be held at the same location at Denny's at the corner of I-4 and US Hwy 27 on November 27th at 1 pm.

      Denny's:
      44111 S Us 27, Davenport, FL

We would like anyone interested in participating in the series to join us. We welcome everyone's opinion! The more drivers/owners we have at these meetings, the more productive this will go.

We don't have many answers now as we are still in the organization stage. That is why we want all owners/drivers to attend so that we can get their opinions on how this series should be run. We don't want this series to be ran by the track owners. We want it to be run by the owners/drivers.

Well that's a given the a series is run by the series owner. Their point is what about the the that are set up to let you race? Feb. is getting here fast and it seems this thing may be getting started to late to make the 2012 season. Just my opion.

Sorry, when I said owners/drivers, I meant the car owners and/or drivers. That is why we want the car owners and drivers to come to the meetings to get their input on how they think a series should be ran.

We are doing this for the drivers, not anyone else.

As far as time, the next meeting will be on November 27th at the Denny's at the corner of I-4 and US 27. You can see how far this series has come just after one meeting. We have a lot of people who are motivated to get this series rolling in 2012.

It sounds like there is no schedule yet. The Southern Sportsmen Series didn't start with speedweek. Nor am I sure this one will either. As far as tracks that may be raced at, it sounds like the sameones for the most part that the old series ran at. Don't forget they have only had one meeting. It's early in the process.

I haven't heard anything about any tracks involvement or anything to do with bringing in fans......Talk about rules and procedures all you want but if the most you can do is bring cars, all you have brought is a BILL you expect paid. You WILL NOT get ANY race date if that is all you bring.....JMO

Tracks can't advertise car count alone and cover their cost.....Better put on your business cap and take something to the tracks SOON that makes business sense or hang it up now....again....JMO

Bill, if the only thing you got out of my post is negativity then I can only wish you good luck. Hope this works out for all the sportsman drivers and tracks.
