PLEASE post about racing safety. IT IS A MUST! we have in the past done alot to support safety issues. might be time for some refreshers! There are people who post on here (or used to) who are invaluable. Frasson (Jerry Binner) is like a walking talking encyclopedia of racing knowledge as is Dave Westerman.... OJ is a firefighter.... could help with how to deal with different types of fires and removing drivers from burning cars, he also has alot of racing history knowledge, some people are great organizers... Tony Carreno is one...some are writers, ...
my point is that we have run off some really important people who contribute alot. HOWEVER... the name calling has got to stop. it isnt right on any level... it is the mean behavior that runs people off. lets bring back some REAL RACING FANS and especially DRIVERS!!!! RESPECT !!!
Rick... it isnt my job to tell you what to do but i think its wrong to erase entire threads because a few people ruin them. delete the ppl who cause the problems. thats all. ;-)

This message board has over 4600 members and only a handful go through this BS constantly. My suggestion is....GO TO ANOTHER MESSAGE BOARD! There are literally 1000's of racing related message boards including:
4M.net - (Try these type of insults and see how long you last over there.)
Florida Flag Stand
Stock Car Racing.com
Eastern Racing Chatter Board
and many more. Simply do a search on Google and sign up on one of those sites...PLEASE. Don't go away mad, just GO AWAY! This is one of the most STUPID things I have been a part of EVER in the racing business. If this message board causes you so much aggravation, my suggestion is, find another board, or start your own! It's really easy and cheap. Then you can say ANYTHING about ANYONE you want. I'm glad Rick handles this part....I would ban all of you! Geez!

I came on here some time ago because this message board was allowing my home tracks and sanctioning body to be bashed daily by a group of people. I set out to bash the bashers. It worked, they quit or left. Had this board not allowed the bashing, there would not have been a bash fest. Then most recently, I had enough of one person, it escalated and it is where it is today. I will stop when that problem is handled. It's simple, there is a virus here and it needs to be managed or banned. He's a common problem and does not exist on the other boards you mentioned. Constant worthless post, instigating, and right out lies is the reason me and so many others challenge him.

Scott I hear the frustration form you and Rick. There is a solution but it is not acted upon. Please read my suggestion early in this thread about a flagging system. That type if system is used on alot of messageboards and it works well.

Then problems with this board can be remedied with a flagging system or a set of rules enforced equally.

Anyways....I wish I had the time to go back and COUNT how many times you've instructed myself and everyone else to just "skip over", "ignore" or "just don't read" the posts that offend us. I'd also like to count how many times you've stated "this is my last post on this subject" or "I will not respond anymore"..........I'm pretty sure it would require some higher math skills.

Just "skip over" it and go on to some of this good racing news you're looking for. It's still out there. These few little bytes of racing board BS aren't getting in the way of whatever racing is out there.

Not so easy to do, is it?
Even harder to keep your fingers off the keyboard to type up a response.

So let me get this straight.....someone "bashes" a track or sanctioning body, and you feel the need to be an a**? Because if that's the case, you will have a full time job replying to people's posts.
Please stop telling Rick how to run this board. It's been one of the longest running boards in the racing industry that I'm aware of, and STILL IS the #1 site in Florida for racing, despite what others think or say.
Once again, I say, IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW IT'S DONE ON THIS FORUM, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER SITE! There is a little red triangle looking thing in the upper right corner of a post. It says to click to report the thread. Do not know if it works. On many forums over the years, i have dropped a few people, meaning I see nothing they post. I do not know if this forum has tghat ability.

I joined this board back in about 2001. This stuff is mild to how I was talked about and the names I was called back then by a few on here from my track. And the pm's were even more of a threat toward me personally. Bannings what did finally stopped it and they went on there way never to be heard of again on here.

Dude this crap has been going on long before there was an EZ or a Tunaman. When you have a message board that has over 4,000 members it's going to happen regardless. I ban Tuna it will happen again no matter what. I have been doing this board and several others since 1998 and to be honest like Rick W. said it has been alot worse. So banning a person a certain group doesnt like does nothing, they will find someone else they don't like, happens everytime so you can just send me the 1K I'll take cash...

OJ I would LOVE to just skip over all the crap stuff unfortunately for me it's my job, you don't think Dear Abby dropped more letters then she published? No I think short of putting the 5 or 6 who are having problems on moderation and only allowing their positive posts the deleting will be what I will be doing.

I have kept my peace long enough. I have been involved in racing almost 60 years and I have seen some childish behavior on tracks all over the southeast, but you guys are topping it all. Follow Scottys advise. Go somewhere else please. I come on here because I love the sport and the people involved. Just agree to diagree and let it go. Why make us all sit thru your BS? Enough is enough!!!!
